Health and Wellness Coaching

Develop healthier habits with a series of health and wellness coaching sessions. Coaching has been shown to improve overall quality of life and enhance physical and mental well-being. Health and wellness coaches are certified professionals who specialize in behavioral change.

A health and wellness coach is not a doctor, registered dietician, personal trainer, or psychologist.  A coach doesn’t tell you what to do or how to do it. The coach approach is client-lead. YOU are the expert on yourself, your life, and what you want to achieve. Your coach is your cheerleader, encouraging you when motivation falters, helping you eliminate stumbling blocks, and providing accountability.

If you’ve been given a directive by your doctor or other healthcare practitioner to reduce stress, exercise more, or improve certain biomarkers, coaching is where “the rubber meets the road” in terms of implementing health recommendations. Your coach will accompany you on the journey from where you are now to where you want to be. If you’ve struggled to maintain healthy routines in the past, a coach can help you avoid the pitfalls of setting goals too soon in the change process, without first setting yourself up for success.

Callie received her certification in health and wellness coaching through Utah Tech University’s exercise science program. Her coaching style is relaxed, non-judgmental, and nurturing. She is a proponent of the HAES movement (healthy at every size) and believes that every body is worthy of encouragement and support. She’s excited to help you create your vision for who you can become and build resilience as you navigate change along the way.
